| | What is Kismet, anyway? We like to describe it as something that is meant to be, but most specifically, it is good Karma returned. Just as sap comes in the early spring like a reward to the patient Vermonter, Kismet is the gift given in response to hard work and good intention. We like to describe our food as intentionally delicious, or Kismet, because of all that is put into our ingredients. In support of small farmers and food producers, we have sourced the best ingredients as local as possible: our salt is hand harvested in Maine, our crepes and baked goods are made from local flours, and our dairy and meats are local and hormone free. We use vegetables, beans, rice, sugar, meats, cheeses, spices and herbs that we can trace back to farms. In addition, we offer gluten free specialties made in Vermont gluten free kitchens, and butter we make ourselves from local cream. We’ve sourced beautiful organic chocolate from South America, so our specialty treats and hot chocolates are a sure pleasure for all who visit. Come try our breakfast and brunch specials like traditional crepes made with local flour, huevos rancheros and roasted root home fries. We believe that these simple artisan foods will nourish you to your greatest self. check out our cafe menu and our catering pages kismet
